The Summer Fair is the highlight of our annual event calendar and an incredible community event where students, parents, teachers, and neighbours all come together to celebrate. Every penny we raise goes directly back into Halstow Primary School.
Here is how you can get involved and help make this year's fair the biggest and best yet!
How you can help
🤝 Volunteer
All our events and initiatives are made possible by parent volunteers who give their time and expertise.
Shifts are broken down into manageable chunks (typically 11:30 AM – 2:00 PM or 1:45 PM – 4:00 PM), so you will still have plenty of time to enjoy the fair with your family.
As before, we have assigned each year group a zone of the fair so you will likely know those you are volunteering alongside.

🎟️ Donate to the Grand Raffle
Our Raffle is one of our biggest fundraisers! We are currently looking for at least 15 high-quality prizes to make this year's draw unforgettable. Do you own a local business, or do you have a connection who might be willing to donate? In the past, we have had incredible donations, including beauty treatments, personal training sessions, and restaurant vouchers. Please email us with any ideas (friendsofhalstow@gmail.com)
🎁 Contribute to the Tombola
The Tombola is always a firm favourite with the children! To make it a success, we rely on generous donations of bottles, chocolates, and small, fun items. We will be adding raffle numbers to these prizes to create a fantastic spread on the day. Please drop donations to the school office or email us to arrange a collection.
🌟 Become a Corporate Sponsor
With over 700 people attending, sponsoring the Halstow Summer Fair is a fantastic way to gain local visibility while supporting our school! We have tailored four sponsorship tiers to suit any budget:
General Sponsorship (£50): Your company name on promotional flyers emailed to all parents and on our large "Thank You" poster at the entrance.
Small Games (£75): Sole sponsorship of a classic game (like Hook-a-Duck or the Tombola) with an A4 sign featuring your brand.
Feature Attractions (£150): Our most popular tier! Sole sponsorship of a high-traffic zone (like the BBQ, Bouncy Castles, or Facepainting) with an A3 poster and live PA shout-outs.
Major Attractions (£200 - £295): Maximum impact! Sponsor our biggest crowd-pullers: the Teacups ride (£295), the Performance Area (£200), or the Bar & Tuck Shop (£200)
